__yogurt ice cream. Gilbey’s Premium Strength (I could live drinking only this. promise.haha). Lay’s Salt & Vinegar. And I’m still loving All Time Low, Chicosci and Taken By Cars on my playlist.

__All the times with my Concentrix friends : UP Fair, getting drunk at Puerto Galera, sunrise beer sessions

3. Life lessons I learned

__Live life to the fullest. Life’s too short so while you have it, do what you want to do. But keep safe. haha.

__I used to believe that you have to always be nice to everyone around you. Well, after working for a company that brings out the worst in you, and after meeting many people that are just so effed up, I think that it’s okay to be mean at times, especially when the situation calls for it.

5.This conviction I lived by

__Fight for what you know is right.

6. These risks I took

__Career change. I actually consider that more of  a challenge.  When I resigned from my first work early this year, I was not sure if I did the right thing. But I’m glad everything went well. I’m enjoying having the best job in the world–teaching kids!

7. These sufferings strengthened me

__There is only one thing that made me cry this year. If you have been following my posts, or if you’re someone really close to me, you would know what that is. Basta, what happened made me stronger and wiser. Next time, I’ll be more careful so I won’t get hurt. Right, Bez?

9. What I regret

__I would like to say that I don’t regret anything that happened this year. But that’s not the case. If I were given a chance, I would go back to the times that I have wasted on something that’s not worth anything at all. Yes, I did it again and I’m not proud of it. Of all the mistakes I’ve done before, this one’s the worst. And yes, that person’s the worst too.

10. The persons who meant so much to me

__Bez, who’s been there through thick and thin (literally and metaphorically, hehe!). My family. My friends. My drummer boy (yickee! bakit kasali ka dito? haha) Dammit. I love you all!

11. My unfulfilled dreams

__Ganun pa rin. To marry a rock star. Haha. Malapit na (as in super lapit, nasa tapat lang ng bahay namin *ahem*). I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Seriously, I couldn’t ask for more. I’m happy right now because of all the blessings that me and my family is receiving. I am actually living my dream. I am doing what I do best and what I love to do. Whatever blessing God will give me next year, I’ll be just thankful and more than happy to accept it. But for now, I’m happy and contented

__Dear Lord, thank You for giving me one of the best years of my life. 2009 has been great. I’ve met a lot of people-good and bad,and experienced and learned a lot of new things. I’m hoping 2010 would be as good as this year (minus all the heartaches.lol) or even better.

Since Christmas, more than anything else, is a season of love,giving and sharing, I highly encourage my friends and family to show their appreciation of my being a good girl this year through gifts. Haha! And to help you with that, I’ve listed down things that you may consider giving me this Christmas..

1. Fly Black Hearts album

oh well, Bez already promised me a copy of this (with bonus autograph courtesy of Migs!) since she went to the album launch without me.

2. A new phone

3. Laptop

I’m actually planning to buy a laptop as a Christmas gift to myself. But if anyone is generous enough to give me one, I’ll be more than happy to accept it

4. A shopping spree at Divi

I’m so excited to go shopping! I can imagine all the clothes and bags and shoes and..and..and.. everything else that I could buy from Divisoria! Did I tell you that I’m shopaholic?

5. A year’s supply of Lay’s Salt and Vinegar. Yum!

6. A room makeover

I want a new bed, an LCD tv, my own ref (to hide my junk food from my sisters!hehe) an aircon..I want to repaint my room. I was thinking to have it red pero sabi nila magmumukha daw Sogo. Pink naman is too girly. How about purple? Hmmm..White na lang kaya ulit?

7.  A Jansport backpack that’s big enough to carry all my school day essentials.

8. A new camera

My cam’s two years old already (it looks older though because of the scratches it got when I got drunk in Puerto Galera last summer) and it’s only 5mp. I really want a new one (if I or anyone could afford a DSLR, why not? that’s way better than a point and shoot cam!) for more cam whoring fun!

The Pioneers (together with their gradeschool classmates) had a reunion last Saturday. We were supposed to have a sleep over at John’s place, but thanks to Santi, there was no electricity at the Co mansion so we had to move somewhere else. It’s good that the Teruel brothers offerred their house for the night..So we ended up somewhere in Montevista for a night of reminiscing and bonding and..booze baby! I soooo love it!

In the midst of this calamity, here you are blogging about the fun you’ve had watching people panic while you sip your cup of Starbucks tea. I’ve hated you before before of your insensitivity of the feelings of the people around you. But I hate you more now because of your apathy and selfishness. What kind of human being would talk about dining in a posh resto and shopping for Versaces and Pradas when thousands of Filipinos are drenched in the rain on their roofs with soiled clothes and nothing to eat?

You are just one apathetic, selfish, insensitive biatch!

Many of us are fortunate enough to still have our loved ones, our homes, our properties safe and intact. Why not share this blessing that we’re given? Let’s all pray and help those greatly affected by the calamity. Instead of blogging about insignificant stuff, why not just use our time and resources to gather more help for those in need?

I call on everybody. Let’s do our part and offer a little of ourselves to our fellows who need us.

***I’m most worried about my friends in Brookside and Park Place (which according to the news are one of the most affected places). I am not able to contact them and some of your relatives abroad are already worried about you guys. I know the electricity’s out in that area and cell signal is hard these past days. But I do hope you and your families are all okay. Just contact me and your loved ones as soon as you can as we are so worried about you.

To everyone affected by Ondoy, you will all be included in my prayers.
